At around 15:20 our Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call from Bull security requesting assistance at a motor vehicle accident on Delmas road corner Barnard. In arrival we found 2 patients from the same vehicle who sustained moderate injuries. The one patient was stuck in the vehicle and had to be extricated using the Jaws of life. Both patients were stabilized on scene and transported to hospital for further treatment and monitoring. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were luckily uninjured and refused treatment.
