Just after 12:00 our Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit was activated for a motor vehicle accident on the N1 close to the Rigel offramp. On arrival we found one patient with moderate injuries after he lost control of his vehicle and collided with the barrier.
The patient was assessed on scene and transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
