just before 21:00 our Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a serious motor vehicle accident on the N4 highway in Wilgers Pretoria. On arrival we found one vehicle with extensive accident damage in the middle of the road on a pile pf grain.
On inspection we found 6 people 2 of whom was heavily entrapped in the wreckage. We assessed all the patients and found that none of them showed any signs of life and all 6 of which 3 were children were declared dead on arrival.
The truck who according to eyewitnesses made a U-Turn on the highway was nowhere to be found.
SAPS, TMPD and RTMC officers were on scene to investigate the grueling accident.
