Just after 15:00 our Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a patient that fell off a horse. On arrival we found that the patient had a suspected spinal fracture.
Due to the nature of the injury the decision was made airlift the patient to hospital.
We would like to thank and congratulate the staff of the equestrian center for the care given to the patient prior to our arrival.
